All things considered, lunch was good. I had an AM Sandwich & Fried Potatoes covered w/ green chile and cheese. The AM Sandwich consists of: 2 fried eggs, cheese, and tomato on an Everything Bagel. It's very good.

I just got back from lunch, and I have 5 minutes before my break is over, so I thought I'd write a little. I miss having a website. I need to sit down sometime and just build my site. I have a few ideas in mind...that's something else I need to do...come up with a layout & theme. I know basically what I want it to look like, but that's about it...and I'm not even positive that I'll like what I have in mind. I'm just too busy to get it done. I need a new domain as well. Okay, I don't *need* one, but I'll probably get one.

Wow. People are stupid. There is an article in the paper today about Pumpkins. That's fine, right? However, the article starts off with this:

"Cinderella's coach came from a pumpkin patch, and so did the head that was thrown at Ichabold Crane in Disney's 'The Ledgend Of Sleepy Hollow.'"I felt like writing to the newspaper bitching about that in the book by Washington Irving, that was published in 1820 (long before the time of Disney) the pumpking gets thrown at Ichabold's fuckin' head. It pisses me off how many people believe Disney to be this great and creative company, when all they do is turn classics into shotty animation movies. Remember when "Treasure Planet" came out? At least that time Disney said, "Based on the book by Robert Lewis Stevenson." But just the same, I'm willing to bet that Robert Lewis Stevenson was spinning. I know I would have been.

*sigh* I'm at work right now, but I've decided to take a break. I haven't had a break in at least an hour. My job is fairly interesting. It's easy, so to most people it would seem boring...and yeah, it is kind of boring, but it's a specified field which makes it more interesting. What I do is scan the daily newspaper into the computer and bookmark all the advertisments, and I scan the County Clerk books. A book consists of 999 pages inclusive, and I scan them into the computer. They then get burned to a CD and then we turn around and sell the CD's to various Title & Mortgage Companies because they're required by law to have a copy of the clerks books. I'm also working on a project which entails scanning documents from Microfiche. It's a bit more time consuming, but all in all, still easy.

I got this job because of Edward. He started working for this company because one of his friends worked here and told him about it. I had known his bosses for a while before I got the job. Really, the only reason I have the job is because the bosses knew me because of Edward, and liked me. It's great though. No customers...I'm not burning my hands on coffee....I'm not on my feet all day. It's really great. Edward and I work in different offices. He works in the warehouse which stores boxes of files for a title company. Also at the warehouse, they scan the files. I think he likes his job, and I know he likes his boss. I'm happy I have this job, and that I have my Edward, and that things are just going well in general.

Lately, I've been a little concerned because I missed some hours this pay period. I wanted this pay check to be decent so I could pay for a class at school, continue to pay for food, and gas, and the phone bill when it comes around. Also, in the event we have to pay for a place, it'd be nice not to have to worry so much about money. But I realized that there's just no way it's going to be a sizable pay check, so I gave up hope. I'm just now concerned with getting the hours from the rest of the week done.

*another sigh* Time to get back to work.....
